Sponsor terms
These terms cover "Nearby" sponsor listings sold by WeldonPC on lakeerie.info.
What you get
A text listing in the "Nearby · Sponsored" box on one lighthouse or wreck page for 365 days from when PayPal confirms payment. Price: $79. Each listing is labeled "Sponsor" and links with rel="sponsored". At most two listings show per page, in an order that rotates daily.
Allowed categories
- Dive shop or dive charter (diving and snorkeling only)
- Lighthouse, heritage or sightseeing tour
- Museum or attraction
- Lodging (hotel, inn, B&B, cottage, campground)
- Café or restaurant (not alcohol-focused)
- Bike, kayak or paddle rental for sightseeing
- Gift shop, gallery or bookshop
- Photography tour
Dive businesses can't sponsor protected wreck pages.
Not allowed
Fishing charters, guides, and bait and tackle · marinas and boat sales or service · real estate · wineries, breweries, distilleries and bars · cannabis, tobacco and vaping · firearms · gambling · loans, crypto and finance · medical or health claims · political or religious advocacy · adult content.
Automatic checks
Every listing and every edit is checked automatically before it goes live: no links, emails or handles in the text, not mostly capitals, an https website that loads, no link shorteners, no denied words or domains, and no more than three live listings per website.
Reports
Readers can report a listing. Three reports from different readers within 30 days hide the listing automatically and pause your remaining time. We email you a link to edit it; a passing edit restores it and resumes your time. Three hides in 365 days block the email from buying for a year.
Broken links
We check your website daily. If it fails for 14 days in a row, the listing is hidden and your time pauses; it returns automatically when the site loads again.
Edits
Edit from your library, up to three times a day. Every edit is re-checked.
Renewal and expiry
We email reminders 30 and 7 days before the end date. Renewing adds 365 days from the later of the renewal date or the current end date. Expired listings are hidden, not deleted, for a year, so a renewal restores them.
Refunds
- Digital items are delivered instantly; all sales final.
- If delivery fails after 3 automatic retries, you automatically receive a credit code for the full value.
- If PayPal refunds or reverses a payment, the item or slot is revoked automatically.
No refunds for listings hidden because of rule breaks, reports or a website that doesn't load; fixing the problem restores the listing and its remaining time. If PayPal reverses your payment, the listing is hidden.
Your responsibility
You confirm you own or are authorised to act for the business, and that your listing is accurate and lawful. We don't verify or endorse listings.
